Steven Universe is finally coming to a console near you in Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers

Steven Universe from Steven Universe is about to enter the console gaming universe in the new Cartoon Network mashup game for PS4 entitled Cartoon Network: Battle Crashers. Looks like you’ll be able to play as Steven as well as characters from The Amazing World of Gumball, Adventure Time, Regular Show, Clarence, and Uncle Grandpa; all shows that I’ve heard are pretty good.

The only ones I’ve ever watched are Steven Universe and Adventure Time. I’ve never watched Uncle Grandpa other than the crossover April Fool’s Day episode with Steven Universe. I hate that episode. Should I watch the others?

I’m a big fan of side-scrolling beat-’em-ups, but in the past, Cartoon Network games haven’t reviewed all that well aside from the wonderful Attack the Light: Steven Universe mobile game. Let’s hope this one breaks that trend and is awesome like that one and the network’s Adult Swim games.
