It’s been teased for almost a year

Just the other day I was looking up Minecraft on Oculus. I was thinking “didn’t they announce it like, forever ago? Where is it?”

But it turns out that it’s just on Gear VR, without full-on Oculus support just yet. That changes soon, as Microsoft has announced that in line with the one year anniversary of the Windows 10 edition of the game, it will be released “in the next few weeks.”

Thankfully this wasn’t the “special announcement” that Mojang has teased for Minecon in September. Can you believe how much cachet this game still has among players both young and old? All of my neighbor’s kids play it, as do my wife and I.
