I’m a huge fan of Japanese madness. If a game features people screaming with delight bordering on orgasm, tigers hurling across the screen dressed in suggestively homoerotic costumes, and cats sandwiched between sushi slices about to be eaten, I want to see more of it. Somehow if it’s not released in America, it becomes more fascinating to me and I want to play it worse than ever.

Enter Momotarou Dentetsu 16 Gold, an upcoming title for the 360. The series has been around for ages, making its first appearance on the Famicom in 1988. Hudson’s Head of Consoles has actually named the series as his favorite games of all time. The game itself is a lot like Monopoly with trains added in. There’s also tons of happy screaming (naturally), a character that looks like a terrifying drag queen, and a guy in a thong displaying his ass for your viewing pleasure.

I can’t imagine what more I might need in a game, but since the series is still Japan-only, I’ll have to get my import on to find out.
