Deep down we doubt this game will launch

Deep Down was originally announced three long years ago this month, at the debut event for the PlayStation 4. Since then, the PS4 has gone from strength to strength, but poor little Deep Down is still nowhere to be seen.

Fortunately, we’ve just had another hint the game is still being worked on, as Capcom has filed an extension to their copyright with the US Patent and Trademarks Office.

According to the filing, Capcom is continuing its “efforts in conducting product and/or service research or development with respect to the allowed good and services.” In non-legalese that it means it’s still being worked on in some form or another.

I really hope we see some more of Deep Down this year, as what Capcom showed way back in 2013 looked promising.
