Brace yourselves, anti-mobile and free-to-play comments are coming
“This isn’t the BlazBlue game you’re looking for,” he persuades you with a small wave of the hand.
Okay, maybe it is. Maybe you’re in the market for a “gluttonous” rhythm game where you “eat to the beat of BlazBlue.” In that case, step right up. Let me introduce you to Arc System Works’ new free-to-play mobile game, Eat Beat: Dead Spike-san. Here’s the premise:
Once upon a time, in an unnamed Hierarchial City, a hero named Ragna the Bloodedge lost his mojo. No longer the feared, overpowered fighter that he was known to be, Ragna suffered defeat after defeat until his special attack, Dead Spike-san, decided it no longer wanted to be associated with a loser. It decided to gain strength in the only way it knew how: by eating everything in sight.
It’s out now for Android and iOS platforms in both English and Japanese. The base game features eight tracks at launch with more songs, characters, and items coming later down the line as DLC.
