Play with yourself

We’ve all known for a while that for virtual reality to take off, it needs to facilitate playing with oneself. Developer VR Unicorns perhaps took that advice too literally and built a game about playing tennis, except you continuously teleport from one end of the court to the other in order to return your own serves and keep a volley going.

Also, it’s almost like it was put through a Keita Takahashi filter, with bright colors, flat textures, and bizarre tennis ball-headed, cloud-clad dancing people. Oh, and then there’s an in-game selfie stick. I don’t know why.

Devolver Digital is publishing #SelfieTennis for the Vive. It’s currently up on Steam for $20.
