It’s definitely not a game, though
Ubisoft has announced Assassin’s Creed VR Experience, a virtual-reality experience scheduled to release later this year.
The project – which is being developed in partnership with Fox and Practical Magic and reported to be based upon the upcoming movie – was announced at AMD’s 2016 GDC Press Conference.
If you’ve noted how carefully I’m not using the word “game”, that’s intentional. According to our friends at Polygon, president of Practical Magic VR and director of VR experiences Matthew Lewis made it clear the experience was “not a game”.
