It starts with a snowball fight
This Thursday, all o’ yous who live in Europe will be able to play Final Fantasy Tactics Advance on the Wii U Virtual Console. While I infinitely prefer the tone of the original game on PlayStation, I have a few fond memories of playing through this on my Game Boy Advance when I was (ugh) a boy of thirteen years.
Sure, the law system (in which a judge can ban you from using things like… magic) can be infuriating at times, and the storybook setting has a hugely silly plot hook, but it’s a Final Fantasy Tactics game in your pocket. I still don’t know why Square Enix isn’t making a beautifully hand-drawn sequel on the Vita. You can’t always get what you want. I do hope this comes to us Americanos soon.
