Compared to the ‘old’ one

Monster Hunter X was just released recently in Japan, and it’s blowing sales expectations out of the water. It’s only set for the 3DS at this time, but since the platform is now semi-fragmented by the “New” and “old” models, there is a slight difference in terms of load times.
Nintendo themselves have actually broken down the difference, which is mostly insignificant (a few seconds) outside of the initial boot-up time, which takes only five seconds on the New model, and roughly 21 seconds on the old. It doesn’t exactly scream “upgrade now,” but it’s definitely better on the newest iteration of the portable.
