Who wants a closer look at the Animal Crossing amiibo?

We’ve seen a fair amount about Animal Crossing and amiibo, but a lot of it has to do with the first use of amiibo cards. Well, when both Happy Home Designer and amiibo Festival release, they’ll also get some good ol’-fashioned amiibo figurine support.

There’s not a whole lot of new information here apart from the fact that we’re getting a good look at the eight amiibo under the Animal Crossing banner. Cyrus, K.K., and Reese are available together in a three-pack, and all eight are available individually. The remaining characters are Tom Nook, Mabel, Digby, Isabelle, and Lottie.

This isn’t necessarily the whole of the Animal Crossing line. The amiibo cards will have 100 in the set, so there’s wiggle room to add more figures. Given how Nintendo’s finally understanding the selling potential of these things, there’s a fair chance of that happening.
