Japan Expo to host Ace Attorney art director

Tatsuro Iwamoto announced as Guest of Honor

With the first North American event set to take place later this month, Japan Expo has announced their Video Game Guest of Honor for the show — freelance illustrator Tatsuro Iwamoto, perhaps best known for his role as the art director for the much-beloved Ace Attorney series. Iwamoto’s designs really define the look and the feel of those games, and I couldn’t imagine how any of them would look without him.

As a reminder, Japan Expo USA takes place August 23rd through 25th in Santa Clara, California and will feature many other talented guests such as Lunar & Grandia composer Noriyuki Iwadare, some exciting events and more. It should be noted that for those of you hoping to run into Iwamoto, he’s scheduled to appear for all three days of the show.
