They certainly like their secrecy

There was a rocky period there where I wasn’t so sure 2K would keep the XCOM shooter going. To hear that it’s back, albeit with new branding, and still looks more or less like what I was hoping to get out of the game in its original form is delightful. As a supplement to Hamza’s hands-on preview, check out this trailer for The Bureau: XCOM Declassified.

The more strategy-centric XCOM: Enemy Unknown was terrific, yes — but The Bureau speaks more to my interests as a gamer. No matter your preferences, I think we can all agree, however, that seeing a franchise like XCOM do well is worth celebrating.
