Yes, I know, I’m gangsta’. Don’t be intimidated.

A slew of new images from little-known indie game Grand Theft Auto IV were just released and, I have to say, I am very impressed (check them all out in the gallery below).

I know there are a bunch of you out there that are not the biggest GTA fans, but even the haters can’t deny how pretty these screens are. From the staggering amount of detail to the very impressive lighting and weather effects, this game looks to be shaping up extremely well (especially when compared to past games in the series). I can’t wait to get my prostitute blood-stained hands on it come this fall.

What do you think? Are you nodding your head in appreciation like I am? Or are you still waiting for something more? And what is up with the character in the pool hall? Is that Niko Bellic? I’m confused … hold me …
