GTA Online updated to stop vehicles from vanishing

Stimulus coming in the next few days

Rockstar has put out an update on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 that should finally address those pesky disappearing vehicles and modifications in GTA Online.

Measures are now in place to prevent data loss when there’s a cloud outage or network problems more generally. No more living in fear, then. Well, you still have to watch out for the roaming gangs of psychopaths — but that’s just business as usual in Los Santos.

Now that these longstanding problems have been hopefully fixed for good, Rockstar can give us its stimulus package. Expect that in-game money to go out within the next couple days over the course of a day-long rollout. I’m eager to see how people’s behavior in GTA Online changes with the new funds. More money more problems.
