Activision has detailed the final two collection packs for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Collection #3 will be out on August 9 and features a new mode for Spec Ops where players can get power-ups while aiming to earn the highest possible score. Additionally, there will be four brand new Spec Ops missions and three new Face Off maps.
Collection #4: Final Assault will be out on September 6 and is a simple multiplayer map pack that adds five new maps.
Each collection will be out for Elite members first, and then to all Xbox 360 players for $14.99. The packs will be out for PC and PlayStation 3 players shortly after the Xbox 360 releases.
All in all, the season of DLC saw 29 pieces of additional content for Modern Warfare 3, which included some free maps for all players. For those of you that actually bought Elite, do you feel satisfied with the overall value of the package? Was it worth it, and do you see yourself renewing for whatever Black Ops II will offer?
