In an effort to help you navigate Sony’s movie and television offerings more quickly, a new app called Video Unlimited has been launched. It’s not anything hugely different from the previous video store — just easier.
Open the app up you’ll be presented with a few categories of different types of offerings. For example, pick New Releases and the newest releases show in a grid of squares, letting you pick what you might be interested in. Select one and you’ll get more detailed information. From there you can buy or rent, or move to the right side of the screen to see tons of other related recommendations.
PlayStation Plus members get this upgrade now, in the latest update. The rest will have to wait a few weeks.
