Following our news about the upcoming Halo 3 beta test, it saddens me to tell you all there seems to be more to the process than was let on initially. While the 60-second commercial for the game will still be running on December 4 as planned, the beta tests themselves will be selective.
Beta testing will still commence on the same date, but not all registered participants will be offered a position in the multiplayer beta, according to IGN. However, there will, apparently, be other ways for Halo fans to get their sweaty hands wrapped around the beta, and details regarding this will be revealed later.
The good news is, European gamers will probably have their chance to register for a separate Halo 3 beta test program, although, registration details have yet to be confirmed.
