One of the first things you’ll want to concentrate on in MLB The Show 25 is the usage of good hitters, who will help you to score runs consistently.
Using a hitter isn’t only about scoring the Home Runs consistently but also about keeping the bases covered. The following list features the ten best hitters you can use in the non-Diamond Dynasty modes. There are some truly amazing athletes who are present on this year’s list.
Top 10 hitters in MLB The Show 25
To make the list, I have kept it simple by including the ten hitters with the highest overall ratings. However, I should mention that there are finer aspects in determining how good an athlete is when it comes to hitting. For example, you should always concentrate on the Contact L and Contact R stats to determine a hitter’s strengths and weaknesses. Similarly, Power L and Power R will indicate which hitters are more proficient in hitting Home Runs.
Player | Position | Overall | Team |
---|---|---|---|
Aaron Judge | RF | 99 | Yankees |
Juan Soto | RF | 99 | Mets |
Shohei Ohtani | SP | 99 | Dodgers |
Bobby Witt Jr. | SS | 96 | Royals |
Mike Trout | RF | 96 | Angels |
Ketel Marte | 2B | 96 | Diamondbacks |
Bryce Harper | 1B | 95 | Phillies |
Francisco Lindor | SS | 95 | Mets |
Mookie Betts | SS | 95 | Dodgers |
Honorable mention goes out to Jose Ramirez who also has an overall rating of 95. Shohei Ohtani is the only outlier on this team as his primary position is SP for the Dodgers. However, he’s equally effective with the bat, which places him on this list.
Do note that the ratings mentioned here are not applicable to Diamond Dynasty. Diamond Dynasty follows a seasons system and the overall ratings of the athletes will gradually go up. If you want to test the players in their prime, there are plenty of modes to enjoy.
