Word was let out earlier this week that Visceral Games was working on a new entry in the Command & Conquer series, but publisher Electronic Arts has since claimed that this is not the case.Â
According to EA, a new Command & Conquer is indeed in the works, but it’s being handled by an LA-based team that answers to Nick Earl at Redwood Shores. It’s not yet known if EA’s own LA studio (the guys responsible for C&C 4) is working on the new one, or if there’s a brand new team on the case.Â
So yeah, there you go. New C&C, but it ain’t Visceral.Â
Next C&C Coming From L.A., Not Visceral [Game Informer]
