Tales of Monkey Island is absurdly cheap on Steam

You know how every so often Steam throws one of those promotions that’s so out of control, you essentially have to take part even if you have no plans to play the game in question for weeks or even months after the fact?

Yeah, this is one of those situations. For $4.99, you can get all five chapters from Tales of Monkey Island. What’s more, your purchase includes both the Mac and PC versions. Earlier today, I messaged Conrad to see if he saw the deal, knowing full well he’s a big Telltale fan.

There you have it. Don’t be an idiot, kids — buy the Tales of Monkey Island Complete Pack before it jumps back up to the regular price of $34.99. Even I eventually got in on this action, and I was born with the inability to love point-and-click adventure games.

  • Conrad: Anybody who doesn’t buy that is an idiot.
  • Me: Hi!
  • Conrad: Assuming, of course, they don’t already own the game on one or more platforms.
