How to get the Hemorrhage mod in Warframe

Likely to give your enemies a nasty headache.

Creating a strong Warframe build means acquiring the right mods for each gear piece, and that is a chore. You need to figure out what exactly you want out of each piece, track down the mods, acquire the Endo to level each mod up, and then hope the build performs well. It’s the nature of Warframe, though, and having more mods early means not needing to farm them later. Here’s how to get the Hemorrhage mod in Warframe.

Where to find the Hemorrhage mod in Warframe

The Hemorrhage mod is acquired from Abandoned Derelict Caches found on Railjack missions, exclusively through Corpus mission nodes. Corpus missions are found in the following locations:

  • Veil Proxima (excluding Nsu Grid, Flexa, H-2 Cloud, and R-9 Cloud)
  • Pluto Proxima
  • Neptune Proxima
  • Venus Proxima

Abandoned Derelict Caches can only be found with Intrinsics Piloting Level 5 or higher, appearing as white map markers separate from the yellow main objective marker. To upgrade Piloting, head to any Relay, open the Pause menu, click on Railjack, then click on Intrinsics. This menu is also accessible through a kiosk in any Dry Dock, found in Relays and Dojos with a Dry Dock built. If you don’t have enough Intrinsics, you can acquire more by completing Railjack missions.

Once you have access to Abandoned Derelict Caches, you can run them repeatedly to receive a random reward at the end of each mission. If the Abandoned Derelict Cache is in the Veil, Pluto, or Neptune Proximas, there’s a 9.09% chance it will be the Hemorrhage mod, with that chance increased to 9.68% if found in the Venus Proxima.

While less likely, the Hemorrhage mod can be a reward on your Circuit path each week. The Circuit is unlocked by completing the Duviri Paradox story quest.

Is the Hemorrhage mod worth using?

The Hemorrhage mod is a pistol mod that gives any Impact status effect you apply to an enemy a 35% chance to also apply the Slash status effect. This chance is upped to 70% if the Fire Rate stat of your weapon is below 2.5. This makes it great for pistols that have large projectiles intended to hit multiple targets at once while firing slowly to compensate. Unfortunately, the meta of pistols with fast fire rate means this mod doesn’t see a ton of use. If you find a pistol that fits the bill though, then give Hemorrhage a go.
