How to get Soul Tickets in Type Soul

A chance to start again.

Choosing a character’s origins in Type Soul is a pivotal decisionas it shapes your combat style and overall techniques. This choice is not easily reversible, potentially locking players into a specific playstyle for the duration of the game. Fortunately, Type Soul’s Soul Ticket offers a solution, allowing you to alter this decision. We’re here to guide you on how to obtain this valuable item.

How do you unlock a Soul Ticket in Type Soul?

The Soul Ticket is a powerful tool that can change your character’s race, whether you’re a Quincy, Soul Reaper, or Hollow. However, it’s important to note that using a Soul Ticket will reset your progress, essentially starting your journey anew. If you’re prepared for this, here are a few ways to get a Soul Ticket in Type Soul:

  • Purchase “Wipe” in your inventory/Skill Tree
  • Defeat Bawabawa in Hueco Munca
  • Defeat Jidanbo in Soul Society

Purchasing a Soul Ticket is indeed the easiest and fastest method, but it’s important to consider the cost. It requires in-game currency, specifically 500 Robux, which roughly translates to six dollars. Open your inventory/Skill Tree with the ‘N’ button and select ‘Wipe.’ Wipe is just another term for a Soul Ticket, resetting progress in the same way.

Once the purchase is complete, choose a new race and pathway for the next playthrough. However, if you seek a free method, you must face Type Soul’s formidable bosses.

How to get Soul Tickets for free in Type Soul

Bawabawa and Jidanbo are known to drop Soul Tickets upon elimination. Their robust movesets make this a challenging feat, but the rewards are worth it. To find Bawabawa, venture to Karakura Town and locate the tunnel entrance to Hueco Munca. For a detailed guide on their location, check out our guide on Hollow Essence and Bawabawa.

Jidanbo lingers around Soul Society, marked with a white waypoint near the bamboo garden. Be mindful of their attacks, as they can bring you down instantly with two measly hits.

I found it easier to defeat Jidanbo with other players, so use a team if all else fails. Sometimes, nearby fighters can join the battle to help with the enemy’s deadly strikes.

Soul Tickets are only sometimes guaranteed with these boss drops. Due to its low spawn rate, you may need to defeat Jidanbo or Bawabawa several times. Those lucky enough to get it can check their inventory for the Soul Ticket and use it to reset their Type Soul race.
