Genshin Impact: Vibro-Crystal event guide

Find the right team for your buffs.

Vibro-Crystal Applications is a recurring event in Genshin Impact that encourages trying out various characters and teams against infinite waves of enemies. Whether you’re attempting a platinum high score or just a gold medal to get all event rewards, here are some suggestions to help you out.

Each stage has its own trial characters and suggested teams. Note that you don’t need to follow the suggested team archetypes in order to achieve a high score. If you have a powerful, well-invested team already, then it’s probably good enough to get at least a gold medal, even if you don’t make good use of the Ley Line Disorders.

Vibro-Crystal medal thresholds

Scoring works by adding together the points you earn in both halves of each stage. The total points you have at the end of the stage determines which medal you get.

Platinum: 10,000
Gold: 4,000
Silver: 1,500
Bronze: 500

To earn all event rewards, you only need to achieve a gold medal, which unlocks at a score of 4,000 points. There are no in-game rewards for platinum, just bragging rights.

You can set your difficulty at the bottom of the stage selection screen. Higher difficulties will award more points, but enemies will be harder to defeat.

Stage 1: Gaseous Flow Detection

Trial characters: Wanderer, Xiao, Heizou, Faruzan

Ley Line Disorder: After triggering Swirl, increase your entire team’s Anemo attack CRIT Rate by 20% for 6s.

This stage is tailored for Anemo characters with CRIT builds. This usually means Wanderer or Xiao as your hypercarry. If you have Venti or Heizou with CRIT stats, they make for good teammates too. Either way, make sure to bring Faruzan, since she will buff your Anemo DPS significantly.

As for Resonance buffs, I tend to steer away from the Elemental Mastery buff, since it doesn’t directly benefit my hypercarry.

Suggested teams:

  • Wanderer – Faruzan – Furina – Jean
  • Wanderer – Zhongli/Yun Jin – Bennett – Xiangling
  • Xiao – Faruzan – Furina – Xianyun/Jean
  • Xiao – Faruzan/Bennett – Zhongli – Albedo
  • Xiao – Faruzan – Sucrose – Bennett/Jean

Stage 2: Fertile Growth Activation Research

Trial characters: Cyno, Nahida, Xingqiu, Yaoyao

Ley Line Disorder: After triggering Quicken, Spread, or Aggravate, regenerate 4 Energy.

Bring a Spread or Aggravate team to take advantage of buffs. I actually recommend staying away from Nahida, since she needs to re-apply her mark on enemies every time a new wave spawns in. Otherwise, Alhaitham, Tighnari, Dendro Traveler, Baizhu, Fischl, Yae Miko, and Beidou are all good options.

Suggested teams:

  • Cyno – Xingqiu/Yelan – Dendro Traveler – Yaoyao
  • Cyno – Furina – Dendro Traveler – Baizhu
  • Alhaitham – Xingqiu/Yelan – Fischl – Kuki Shinobu
  • Tighnari – Dendro Traveler – Fischl – Beidou/Yae Miko

Stage 3: Effect of Ecological Fluctuations

Trial characters: Neuvillette, Wriothesley, Lynette, Charlotte

Ley Line Disorder: When a character’s HP changes, their CRIT DMG increases by 40% for 6s.

Neuvillette is a great character for the first half, and he’s among the trial characters! If you have Furina, she can enable any team on the half that doesn’t have Neuvillette. Wriothesley and Lyney are also able to take advantage of the Ley Line Disorder.

Suggested teams:

  • Neuvillette – Furina – Baizhu – Kazuha
  • Neuvillette – Zhongli – Fischl – Kazuha/Lynette
  • Xiao – Furina – Faruzan – Xianyun/Jean
  • Lyney – Zhongli – Bennett – Xiangling
  • Wriothesley – Xingqiu – Yelan – Kazuha

Stage 4: Probability of Wound Healing

Trial characters: Furina, Baizhu, Barbara, Sayu

Ley Line Disorder: When a character receives healing, their CRIT Rate increases by 20% for 6s.

This condition is fairly easy to activate, as long as you have a healer on your team. Note that the first half has Pyro slimes, so try to avoid a Pyro DPS in your first team. Invest into the CRIT DMG Resonance buff to complement the CRIT Rate from the Ley Line Disorder.

Suggested teams:

  • Neuvillette – Furina – Baizhu – Kazuha/Sayu
  • Xiao – Furina – Faruzan – Xianyun/Sayu
  • Tartaglia – Bennett – Kazuha/Sayu – Xiangling
  • Sucrose – Xingqiu – Bennett – Xiangling

Stage 5: Enhancing the Photothermal Effect

Trial characters: Arlecchino, Lyney, Chevreuse, Thoma

Ley Line Disorder: Trigger a Pyro reaction to decrease all opponents’ elemental RES by 30% for 6s.

As long as you have a Pyro character on your team, you should be able to trigger the Ley Line Disorder with no issue. You should invest into the CRIT DMG Resonance buff as much as you can.

Suggested teams:

  • Arlecchino – Fischl/Beidou – Chevreuse – Thoma
  • Lyney – Zhongli – Albedo – Bennett
  • Lyney – Bennett – Kazuha/Sucrose – Xiangling
  • Hu Tao – Xingqiu – Yelan – Zhongli/Thoma

Stage 6: Resonance Vibration Attribution

Trial characters: Navia, Itto, Noelle, Gorou

Ley Line Disorder: Trigger Crystallize to decrease all opponents’ elemental RES by 30% for 6s.

Any Geo character will allow you to trigger Crystallize as long as you have Pyro, Hydro, Electro, or Cryo as well. Navia, Itto, and Noelle make for great Geo DPS characters. If you choose Itto or Noelle, make sure you pair them with Gorou. Grab the CRIT DMG Resonance buff and avoid the Physical DMG shockwaves.

Suggested teams:

  • Navia – Albedo/Zhongli – Bennett – Xiangling
  • Itto – Albedo/Zhongli – Fischl – Gorou
  • Noelle – Furina – Albedo/Zhongli – Gorou
  • Noelle – Fischl – Yun Jin – Gorou
