Genshin Impact’s current rate-up 5-star characters are Arlecchino (Pyro Polearm) and Lyney (Pyro Bow). They are accompanied by the 4-star characters Xiangling (Pyro Polearm), Freminet (Cryo Claymore), and Lynette (Anemo Sword).

Genshin Impact’s current rate-up 5-star weapons are Crimson Moon’s Semblance (Polearm) and The First Great Magic (Bow). They are accompanied by the 4-stars The Dockhand’s Assistant (Sword), Portable Power Saw (Claymore), Dragon’s Bane (Polearm), Eye of Perception (Catalyst), and Favonius Warbow (Bow).

There is currently no Chronicled Wish banner in Genshin Impact.

How good are the current banners?

Disclaimer: There is no pity for a specific 4-star character or weapon. Do not pull for a specific 4-star unless you are prepared to pull several 5-stars along the way. The weapon banner is even more punishing than the character banners. Do not pull unless you are okay with receiving at least one of each featured weapon.

How good is Arlecchino?

Arlecchino is a powerful on-field Pyro DPS. She uses Pyro-infused Normal Attacks to deal melee damage in a generous AoE. However, Arlecchino faces stiff competition from other on-field Pyro DPS characters. If you like Arlecchino as a character, then she’s strong enough where you won’t regret pulling for her. However, if your only concerns are power level and Primogem value, then Arlecchino is probably a safe skip. There are plenty of Pyro DPS characters you can play, and Arlecchino is just another option if you like her playstyle.

How good is Lyney?

Lyney is yet another strong on-field Pyro DPS. He deals damage by using Charged Shots in conjunction with his Skill and Burst. As long as you can execute his Charged Shots in the correct rotation, Lyney is capable of serious damage. However, Lyney has the same problem as Arlecchino, where there are just too many good options if you want a Pyro DPS character. Lyney is strong, but make sure you’re okay with using Bow Charged Shots.

4-Star Characters

Xiangling is the best of the rate-up 4-stars, but as an old character, there’s a good chance you have her Constellation 6 already. Freminet and Lynette have their niches, but unless you really like their respective playstyles, it’s hard for me to recommend pulling for them. Overall, the 4-stars in the current banner are fairly unenticing.

5-Star Weapons

Crimson Moon’s Semblance is Arlecchino’s signature Polearm. It is her best-in-slot, but not by a significant margin. Primordial Jade Winged-Spear and Staff of Homa are also good options for Arlecchino. The Battle Pass polearms are decent too, if you’d rather spend $10 on the Battle Pass than gamble on the weapon banner. Crimson Moon’s Semblance does look amazing though — when Arlecchino holds her signature weapon, it transforms from a spear into a scythe. The transformation is unique to this character-weapon pairing; no other character and weapon combo has this interaction.

The First Great Magic is Lyney’s signature Bow. It is Lyney’s best weapon, but Lyney has several other options open to him. Thundering Pulse and Aqua Simulacra make for great 5-star options, while Prototype Crescent and Song of Stillness are good 4-star alternatives. The First Great Magic isn’t a bad weapon to have, since you can still use it on other characters besides Lyney. I just don’t think it’s worth the Primogems to pull it specifically for Lyney.

4-Star Weapons

The 4-star weapons range from good to niche to downright terrible. Favonius Warbow is a great support weapon, and Refinements are always welcome. Dragon’s Bane is a good Polearm that provides Elemental Mastery to characters like Raiden Shogun, Hu Tao, and Xiangling. The Dockhand’s Assistant is a rare HP sword for characters like Kuki Shinobu and Nilou. The last two weapons, Eye of Perception and Portable Power Saw, currently don’t have any potential users.
