Well I think I’ve finally figured it out what i want to do for my original post, the best and worst of video game music I’m sure it's already been done before (if it hasn’t please tell me). Being a big music lover and a musician, I’ve always appreciated the music in games as it can completely affect how your emotional reaction is to that moment. I WILL NOT repeat WILL NOT be covering any rhythm music games (guitar hero or rock band).I will do collections of old games and new games. I will try to get the first post up before my summer ends (back to school on the 7th) and then they will continue monthly. Thank you! :D

hello again everyone who is reading this :).

Ive been away from dtoid(posting at least for a month) and just thought i would update alittle before i find my topic to discuss.I think ill start with the life update as it makes more sense that way.

Ive been very busy this past month and a bit with college application and all that jazz. Now that im signed up i have about two weeks left until it starts which is very exciting and leaves some time for games but also little as im trying to enjoy my summer before my very very busy year starts :P. I also started a band just for fun on the side and we are in the midst of making our first ep. I think by the end of the summer i wanna play halo/COD4 with some fellow dtoiders !

GAMES!!!

WELL first off i got two new games this month Call of duty 4 :modern warfare NEW for 30$ at eb games ( i think i got a deal as new in other places is 60$). My brother also got viva pinata which i have no real interest in atm ,ive heard its good and i think it looks like a harvest moon meets animal crossing? :) anways i after two years finally hooked my ds up to wifi! I'm a big animal crossing fan and had a really good town going until i got bored of playing it by myself so if anyone ever wants to play with me just message me or comment and ill gladly play. I also got pokemon diamond but im only half way and have about lvl 30's. The biggest update for me is .... i quit wow. I was rather bored with trying to get gear and not being able to and not having time for raiding. Then the day after i quit the patch came out BUT w.e im done :) it was fun and exicting . If anyone has a private server that works message me because everyone i find doesnt work :(.

ANYWAYS :) thats all i think me and falconreaper should do a colab for the best bosses of all time? IM OUT

Banjo and Kazooie are considered some of the many gems to come out for the n64, and i coudln't agree more.It was the game i played after mario 64 and IT BLEW MY MIND.

That was then,this is now. This is the same characters and humor BUT a completly different game, now while i do not own this game I will give it my best review on how much i have played thus far which is upwards of 3 hours.

The game starts off in Spiral Mountain and you will quickly see that this is not the same banjo. The graphics are absolutely beatiful. They are definatly some of the best on the 360 i've seen yet. The graphics fit the game perfectly and so does the somewhat different art style. Banjo and kazooie both look a little different but you really wont notice it once you start playing(they even poke fun at themselves for this).

I wont try and spoil the story too much as so far there has been very little thus far in the game. One thing i should really mention about this game is the vehicle system. As ive played another platformer that got ruined by a vehicle system (ty the tazmanian tiger 2) I was skeptical about this game having the same problem.

This was not the case, as the game acutally works really well with the vehicles. As the game really revolves around the vehicles its really important to get comfortable in them and being able to customize them. The customize system works really well in this game, but for me it took me a while to acutally figure out what i was doing. It's a really good system that really allows you to make alot of different vehicles( just about anything you could imagine.

Now enough of the good stuff (: the stuff that really bugged me about this whole experience was the story, or lack of. Now as you play through the game you do missons (mostly retreiveing or raceing) as you accomplish them you get jiggy's which is fun for the most part, but there is little story other than that :(.
When you go to the HUB town Grunty is standing right beside you...? She doesnt do anything she just stands there mocking you . Maybe this is just me as im only so far in the game but about 5 hours in now and there is a big absence of story :(.

Overall this is a very good game for any banjo fan( it gets really nostalgic at times:D!) there are lots of little banjo jokes as usual.The soundtrack remains the same as other games BUT it is done by an orchestra which really reminded me of Mario Galaxy and its amazingly well done :)!.

I rented this last night and was acutally blown away by how good this game is !! ive been a die hard banjo fan all of my life. It was the first N64 game i ever got so i went into it without any expectations knowing it was a completly different game. I will do a fuller review later on once im farther or have completed it but for now all i gotta say is :) if your a banjo fan pick this up! (the nostalgia alone will be good enough for you.)

Hey there as you all can see im quite new here (Ive been here about a month now) and i figure its high time i got to my introductory blog. As you can see im a big rpg fan :), but i recently got an xbox and now im expanding my gaming horizon to other genre's of games. I'm open to playing games online with anyone over XBL my gamertag is on my profile . I only have a few games atm but that will change soon once i get a job :(.

I will blog about things that spark my interest in the gaming world. Yes i do play WoW, not as much as i use to (got bored of it) but im willing to play with anyone if they want :).
