No, not that first time. This is my first time blogging on Destructoid and I'm positive it won't be my last.

I've visited Destructoid every so often, but I never thought of making an actual account on it. One day I was talking on MSN with a friend I met over at Gametrailers who made an account here, and I figured I would give it a shot too.

I recently came here from Gametrailers, a site that, as I'm sure most of you know, has a fairly bad community. I still love it though, I've met a lot of great people and I've managed to find my audience and my group of friends there. I love blogging there, so I hope to find an equally great blogging community over here too. If any of you happen to have a Gametrailers account, feel free to add me there.

I'm a California native with an extreme love for cinema and good food. I have been spoiled with good food throughout my life, if I ever leave California I will miss all of the fantastic restaurants here :(

I first started out gaming with an SNES, though I honestly don't remember at what age. From then, I went to the Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Playstation 2, and now currently Playstation 3. I also used to own a Gameboy and Gameboy Color, but those disappeared. I also currently own a Gameboy Advanced, and a PSP.

I never managed to get into the Playstation 1. It just did not appeal to me at all. My cousin had it, so all of the memories I have of it are from playing his or from watching him play. He did let me borrow it for a little while and let me borrow Chocobo's Dungeon and Legend of Legaia among other games. Legend of Legaia is still the only Playstation 1 game I've ever finished. I've also had a little bit of playtime on his Dreamcast playing Soul Calibur, Crazy Taxi, and a few other awesome games.

Out of all of those systems though, definitely my all time favorite system is the Playstation 2. I have by far the best gaming memories on that.

I don't have a preference when it comes to games. I enjoy anything from shooters to RPGs. I used to be very competitive as a kid, but I managed to lighten up when it came to that kind of thing.

Although I love playing video games, my biggest interest lies in film. I have an enormous passion for watching movies, and one of my secret little ''fantasies'' if you will is to be an actor, even though I know that will never happen. I have no preferred genre, I've seen movies from all ends of the spectrum. I don't have one particular favorite movie because I don't believe in having a single favorite movie, each one is great in its own way and I have many favorites.

I also enjoy playing tennis and practicing martial arts. I used to study Kenpo Karate, a rather uncommon style. My instructor moved out of the country recently because of his job, which is a real shame. He was one of the greatest people I've ever met in my entire life. Finally, I also luvs me the occasional manga and anime, although not nearly as much as I used to. I've kind of fallen out of that.

I plan on becoming an active member here, and I look forward to meeting new people here. Chances are, whatever blogs I post on Gametrailers I will end up posting on here too, but I will try to come up with original content here as well.
