I was bored this weekend so I decided to make a video. Overall I enjoyed my time with Iron Man and cannot wait until the price drops to 20 bucks. This actually looks like a decent movie license game so don't be afraid. If you haven't played it yet and have the means to do so, I suggest you download it.
Now I'm going to get back to "work" because I have some databases to create. Yeah SQL :(.
Yeah, A is boost, I assume for dodging (not that you have to do that much though, I only ever died in the hardest mode) but if you do it during flying it becomes smooth and faster.
Superhero games can suck because if you're as strong as in the comics/films then they're too easy but if they become hard then it doesn't seem that you're much of a superhero.
And here I was planning on reviewing this game and Universe at War demo. Oh well, 1 out of 2. Otherwise I agree with ya Kryp. Flying takes a little while but if you invert the controls it helps a LOT. Also, the lock on system feels a little too abrupt for me.
Overall it's a good rental but not a game worth $60.
Great minds think alike. I've been meaning to play the Universe at War demo so I'll be looking forward to your thoughts on it.
Thanks for the feedback everyone :). I'll probably be doing a lot more of these and hopefully I'll nail a format that works. I can't wait to put something together for GTA4 and I'm also going to do something for Burnout Paradise. I know it's old but a lot of people slept on that game, which saddens me.
Good review! It definitely looks like a decent license game.
There's a bunch of little things I noticed in the demo that are done pretty well like holding the L trigger part way in to maintain a level hover. Also, they do a real nice job of scuffing and scoring up the armor as he takes damage. By the time I finished the demo, a good portion of Iron Man's right side was burnt and paintless.
I downloaded this and played it three times yesterday afternoon. Pretty decent, well worth a rental at the least.
The thing I didn't like the most was how the reticule would always snap back to the center of the screen if I stopped aiming it. It annoyed the fuck out of me. I couldn't permanently change which way I was looking with out turning my body, sort of the opposite of strafing.
Oh well, still okay fun. The armor upgrading will be what really hooks me, I can tell.
Iron Man is actually really good, at least the demo was. I was incredibly surprised. But once it hits that 30-20 dollar range, Im picking it up for sure

Totally unrelated note: Is xbox live in the middle of downtime right now?

Yes, they are doing some "maintenance" or some shit today.
Also, ARE YOU SERIOUS? I just have to hold down A...hmmm...guess I should have played it for more than 5 minutes. I'll try that when I get home.
