FNF is a weekly, community-run event where Dtoiders get together to play videogames online! Planning starts in the forums, followed by posts here in the cblogs and on the front page on Fridays. It's easy to get involved, so why not start today?!

How to FNF
To Play
• Leave a comment in the blog or forum post with your Gamertag and which games from the schedule you want to play. More people will show up if they know other people are playing, so speak up!
• Send an Xbox LIVE friend request to the person hosting the game and let them know you're from Dtoid and you're ready to FNF!
To Host
• Leave a comment in this blog or the week's forum post listing game you want to play, the time you want to play it, and your Xbox LIVE Gamertag.
• Don't worry about hosting the same game or hosting a game at the same time as someone else. Instead, think of it like a movie theater; more than one game can run at the same time!

I have been playing quite a bit of Minecraft lately. Between mining and discovering caves, I finally came across my first set of diamonds. Then, I found a small pond of water next to a flowing lava pool and mixed the two to make obsidian. Obsidian's main use in Minecraft is to create portals... to the Nether Realm! I took my first venture into the dangerous world last night with StriderHoang and discovered how truly dangerous the Nether Realm is. Since this was my first trip to the Nether Realm, I had Strider show me a few things. The new great materials there made me smile. Then, Strider informed me that if I made another portal, it would take me to another part of the normal world. Since I had enough obsidian, I decided to make another portal. Little did I know, it would be night when I left to the other side. I soon died as I feel a long fall through a hole in a small cave. Taking me back to where I started before I entered the Nether Realm, I quickly jump through the portal to gather my items. As soon as I walked through, a Ghast was waiting for me and spat a fireball at the portal, shutting it off. Quickly running over to the other portal, another Ghast was waiting and destroyed the other portal I made. I was stuck in the Nether Realm with no hopes of escape... except for Strider. Strider was stuck in the cave I died in, surrounded by zombies as he quickly rushed out of the cave. Beating the Zombies off as he carried my Flint and Steel in hand. Opening the portal, he quickly ventured through only to be set at another random portal. After a quick look around, we find each other shortly after and return home. What a Nether Realm Minute. "I gave her my heart, she gave me a pen." - Lloyd Dobler This is going to be a pretty short blog, I have tickets to the early showing of The Avengers and I want to arrive early enough to get a good seat. I hate when I go to the theater and have to sit either in the front row or in one of those side rows where it makes your neck all at a weird angle and then later when the movie is over the whole world seems tilted because of the way you had to hold your neck for two hours. Yea, that was a run on sentence, no, I'm not gonna change it. Hey, you know what's better than run on sentences (besides nothing, duh), VIDEOGAMES! The movie that we have been waiting for since the original Iron Man released finally comes out in about a month, the Avengers. While we are awaiting the debut of the film, I still question the early death of the Avengers game. From the leaked footage that emerged before the announcement, it looked like a Borderland-ish game that focuses more on melee combat. While I don't like Borderlands, the Avengers looked like a fun adventure. You would have been able to choose one of the Avengers and it seems like they would be fighting off a Skrull invasion. No clue about how close it is to the movie but damn... the game looks like it would have been a fun co-op game for Friday Night Fights. New to Friday Night Fights? It's easy to get involved!
