I’m practically pre-sold on Catherine, the new PlayStation 3/Xbox 360 game from the team behind the Persona series, but a few skeptics have been demanding more details from Atlus beyond its sexiness and sheep-men (the two not mutually exclusive).

Well, Atlus teased a few more hints about the story that you could probably have guessed from watching the incredible trailers, as well as a detail or two about a game mechanic. Yes, “a” as in “singular”. Hey, it’s something at least.

Of Catherine’s two lead ladies, it seems Katherine-with-a-K is Vincent’s main squeeze, but the dolt had to go and betray his lady with Catherine-with-a-C. Now he and his bar buddies are having horrible sheep-filled nightmares, which might be related to the blonde bombshell, as well as a rash of horrible deaths. Bad move, dude.

Vincent can also exchange texts with C/Katherine, in addition to regular ol’ face-to-face interaction, and take pictures to send back and forth. Given the header above, sexiness might ensue via that channel at some point.

On a slightly related note, here is a YTMND composed by Gamasutra’s Leigh Alexander, featuring Vincent’s brief cameo in Persona 3 Portable.
