All Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade challenges and how to complete them

Make the most of your time in the event.

Dead by Daylight‘s Twisted Masquerade event for 2024 might be the best we’ve ever had. It introduces new systems that keep the Twisted Masquerade game mode interesting while adding new cosmetics to earn and, most importantly, a new Event Tome.

The Event Tome for Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade 2024 is packed with interesting challenges for players to complete for Rift Fragments, Bloodpoints, and an event-specific currency that’ll help you earn exclusive cosmetics from the event store. These are what I always play to collect because they’re around for two weeks of the year, and then they’re gone. So you can show them off forever because of all your extra effort.

All Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade challenges and how to complete them

Below, I’ve listed all the challenges in the Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade Event Tome and how to complete them. They’re split up by tier, with a new one being released roughly every six days. Note that Tier 3 is glitched and appeared early, which is how I’ve included the challenges here.

Tier 1 Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade challenges

  • Putting up the Decorations: Hook 6 Survivors as a Killer on Anniversary hooks in Twisted Masquerade Trials.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Light of the Party: Finish repairing 3 Anniversary generators as a Survivor in Twisted Masquerade Trials.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Be There or Be Square: Collect 2 Invitations. These can be found in Twisted Masquerade Trials by completing objectives such as repairing generators.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Community: Be There or Be Square: As a community, collect 2 million Invitations. You must contribute 2 Invitations to the challenge to complete it, so hop into Trials and start completing objectives to earn them.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 25,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Community: Show ’em What You Got: As a community, activate any of the Invitation’s abilities 3 million times. Once you collect an Invitation, use its ability by summoning a party pallet or blocking a window, or use one of the other abilities to contribute to this challenge. You must add 3 contributions to complete the challenge on your end.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 25,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Show ’em What You Got: Activate any of the Invitation’s abilities 4 times across multiple Trials. Take your time with this one and activate the Invitation as and when you can in the role you’re playing.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Bronze Age: Earn 6 emblems of bronze quality or better. You get these for playing to the strength of your role, so complete objectives like hooking Survivors and repairing generators, and you’ll earn them without any trouble.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Clean up After Yourself: Use the Invitation’s power to hook a Survivor remotely 2 times in multiple Trials. This is a fantastic power only the Killer can use. When you’re carrying a Survivor, use the Invitation, and you’ll teleport them to the nearest hook.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Be Very Quiet: Suppress your footfalls, grunts of pain, and/or pools of blood by using the Invitation’s power 2 times in multiple Trials. This ability is hard to catch. When you’ve got an Invitation, you press the right joystick to activate it, and it’ll silence your Survivor for a short time. Do this twice to blast through this challenge.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Community: Death of the Party: As a community, experience 5 million effects from the Bag of Tryks. This is incredibly easy, and you only need to contribute 5 experiences. The Bag of Tryks will activate and apply an effect for every two objectives completed, so just play, and you’ll get this done very quickly.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 25,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Bloody Rewards: Earn 50,000 Bloodpoints.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Death of the Party: Experience 5 effects from the Bag of Tryks. Play through Twisted Masquerade Trials, and you’ll find yourself experiencing everything you need without any issues.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 15,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Encore! Encore!: Activate any of the Invitation’s abilities 3 times in a single Trial. This is a tricky challenge. Pick up the Invitation when you see it and activate its abilities every chance you get. The Invitation recharges over time, so hold onto it, and you’ll be able to use it three times in a single Trial, provided you don’t let things end too early.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 25,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.

Complete this Tier to get 200 Gilded Trinkets, Bill’s Twisted Mess Jacket, and The Unknown’s Twisted Flapper Gown.

Tier 2 Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade challenges

These challenges will be added to the article when they appear in-game.

Tier 3 Dead by Daylight Twisted Masquerade challenges

  • Bloody Rewards: Earn 100,000 Bloodpoints.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Community: Repair or Raze: As a community, earn a total of 300,000 Lightbringer or Gatekeeper emblems of gold quality or better. When you have this challenge available, you’ll have to earn at least 2 gold medals for it, so pick the Killer or survivor role and play until you’ve done it.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 50,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Golden Age: Earn 6 emblems of gold quality or better. You can earn these by playing specifically to your role. For example, repairing generators and unhooking fellow players as a Survivor.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Be There or be Square: Collect 2 Invitations. These spawn in Twisted Masquerade Trials when you complete two tasks as a Killer or Survivor team.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Dancing With Myself: While not in a chase, activate any of the Invitation’s abilities 5 times across multiple Trials. You can activate Invitation abilities by jumping through windows or similar actions and using your Invitation’s power as you do so. Note that you must pick one up in the Trial before you can use it.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Community: Predator or Prey: As a community, earn a total of 250,000 Evader or Chaser emblems of gold quality or better as a Killer or Survivor. You’ll need to contribute at least 2 medals to the challenge, so pick a role you want to do it with and play until you’re done.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 50,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Light of the Party: Finish repairing 3 Anniversary generators as a survivor in Twisted Masquerade Trials.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Putting up the Decorations: Hook 6 Survivors on Anniversary hooks in Twisted Masquerade Trials as a Killer.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Encore! Encore!: Activate any of the Invitation’s abilities 3 times in a single Twisted Masquerade Trial. This is a tough one to pull off. It’s easier to do as a Survivor because more of you are working on spawning Invitations, which will give you more charges for its abilities.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 50,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Community: Callousness or Compassion: As a community, earn a total of 200,000 Benevolent or Malicious emblems of gold quality or better as Survivors or Killers in Trials. As with the other community challenges, you’ve got to contribute 2 medals here, so pick a role and play until you’re done.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 50,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • I’ll Take Care of That For You: Activate the Invitation to break a pallet or breakable wall 5 times. You’ve got to play to your role and spawn an Invitation first, then collect it, then you can use its ability. Note that you can complete this challenge across multiple Trials, so there is no need to sweat about doing it all in one.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Smash their Face In!: Activate the Invitation to spawn a party pallet 3 times. This can only be done as a Survivor, so hop into Trials in this role, collector Invitations, and get spawning those party pallets.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Community: Suffer or Slaughter: As a community, earn a total of 150,000 Unbroken or Devout emblems of gold quality or better as a Survivor or Killer. You know the drill by now. These are awarded for playing your role, so pick one, play to that role’s needs, and get the 2 emblems you need to contribute for the grand prize.
    • Rewards: 8 Rift Fragments, 50,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.
  • Death of the Party: Experience 5 effects from the Bag of Tryks. This is slightly more challenging to pull off. The Bag of Tryks applies status effects for every objective. If you complete two party events, such as repairing a generator or hooking a Survivor, you’ll trigger a new one. Otherwise, just play 5 Trials, and this challenge will be over.
    • Rewards: 5 Rift Fragments, 35,000 Bloodpoints, and 50 Gilded Trinkets.

Complete this Tier to claim 200 Gilded Trinkets, The Unknown‘s Mask, and Bill’s Mask.
